Carole Bayer Sager is an American lyricist and singer who has written many of pop music’s biggest hits. She won an Oscar for “Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do)” and a Grammy for “That’s What Friends Are For”. As a performer, she had a solo hit with “Stronger Than Before” in 1981.
