Max Headroom was a fictional computer-generated character played by Matt Frewer. A cult icon of the 80s, he hosted a TV show and became famous for his arrogant wit and stuttering voice. He also hit the music charts with Art of Noise on “Paranoimia,” defining the era’s high-tech pop aesthetic.
