Bread was an American soft rock band from Los Angeles. Between 1970 and 1977, they scored 13 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including the number-one single “Make It with You”. Led by David Gates, they were pioneers of the melodic, soft rock sound that dominated 70s radio airwaves.
