Sad Café was an English rock band that reached its peak in the late 70s. They are best known for the UK top-ten hit “Every Day Hurts,” which reached number three in 1979. Led by Paul Young (later of Mike + The Mechanics), they were a staple of the British melodic rock scene with several chart hits.
