Sad Café, an English rock band, reached its peak in the late 70s. They’re best known for their UK top-ten hit “Every Day Hurts,” reaching #3 in 1979. Led by Paul Young (later of Mike + The Mechanics), they were a staple of the British melodic rock scene with several chart hits.
