Aswad is a British reggae group known for blending soul and R&B into their sound. Active since the mid-70s, they have 21 albums and three Grammy nominations. They are best known for the UK number-one hit “Don’t Turn Around” and the 1994 single “Shine”. “Aswad” means “black” in Arabic.
