Manfred Mann was a leading 60s British R&B and pop band. Named after their keyboardist, they hit number one with “Do Wah Diddy Diddy” and “Pretty Flamingo.” Featuring vocalists Paul Jones and later Mike d’Abo, they were a major part of the British Invasion and the decade’s chart scene.
