In early 1988, Jacquie O'Sullivan replaced Fahey, who went on to form Shakespears Sister. O'Sullivan left the group in 1991, since which time Dallin and Woodward have continued as a duo, with the brief exception of a one-off reunion tour with Fahey during 2017. Their success on both pop and dance charts saw them listed in the Guinness World Records for achieving the world's highest number of chart entries by an all-female group. Between 1982 and 2009, they had 32 singles reach the Top 50 of the UK Singles Chart.
