The Fleetwoods were a popular American vocal trio from Washington. They made history in 1959 by reaching number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 twice with “Come Softly to Me” and “Mr. Blue.” Their soft, intimate vocal style made them one of the most successful pop acts of the pre-Beatles era.
