Madcon is a Norwegian duo formed in 1992 by Yosef Wolde-Mariam and Tshawe Baqwa. They achieved massive international success with their 2007 cover of The Four Seasons’ “Beggin’,” which topped charts across Europe. Their name is a playful abbreviation for the phrase “mad conspiracy.”
