Danny & the Juniors were an American doo-wop group from Philadelphia. Formed in 1955, they are legendary for the 1957 number-one hit “At the Hop,” a definitive rock and roll classic. They followed it with the anthem “Rock and Roll Is Here to Stay,” cementing their place in early music history.
