Gerry and the Pacemakers were a key 1960s Merseybeat group from Liverpool. Managed by Brian Epstein, they were the first act to have their first three singles hit number one in the UK, including the anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” which became a legendary football song for Liverpool FC.
