Survivor was an American rock band famous for the 1982 anthem “Eye of the Tiger” from Rocky III. The song spent six weeks at number one in the US and became a global phenomenon. They achieved several other top-ten hits in the 80s, becoming icons of the melodic hard rock and arena rock genres.
