I have been working as a Website Designer since 2001, as a freelancer as well as taking permanent job roles. I've worked for an award winning digital design agency in the City of London and I'm currently working as a Senior Web Designer in the West End. Over the years I have been fortunate to design for high profile clients including:

CURRENT WORK

I am currently working as Senior Web Designer for Dennis Publishing. Their websites are all for their high profile in house magazines, which include Maxim, Viz, Bizarre, Men's Fitness, PC Pro, MacUser and Auto Express.

My daily work includes designing and developing promotional microsites, custom pages, html newsletters and flash promos including banners/skyscrapers and mpu's.

PREVIOUS WORK

Between 2006 and 2007, I worked for digital design agency AKQA in Central London. The accounts I worked on were the websites for Microsoft's Xbox, Nike Plus and Sky HD.

I worked as a Website Producer on all these sites, maintaining them on a day to day basis, creating graphics and editing flash, as well as designing layouts for the pages used on the sites. We mainly used XHTML and XML as well as working from a bespoke CMS.

FREELANCE WORK

I have been working as a freelance website designer for various companies since 2001. I have helped companies effectively increase their revenue and secure significant contracts through their online presence. Websites I have created range in size from under five to nearly three thousand pages. These sites all use a varied degree of complexity making the most of the scripts and forms of media listed below.

I also have good search engine optimisation skills with most sites ranking very high in the top search engines. One website I created went from an average of 800,000 to six million hits per month.
