Yesterday (1st December) I had the privilege of pushing the plunger to turn on the Christmas tree lights for the London Borough of Harrow, together with the local Mayor. The honour was bestowed as part of my Chairman duties for the charity Radio Northwick Park, who were hosting the event.
Despite the biting cold, the people of Harrow came out in full force to enjoy the festive celebrations. It was a true honour to host such a prestigious and enjoyable event to kick start Christmas in Harrow.
Hundreds of people enjoyed the live music and gathered around the tree and purpose made stage, as I introduced acts and warmed up the crowd with fellow volunteers.
